We have quality horses AND quality horse items for sale or lease. Not being wealthy people ourselves- but still having the "need" to have horses, we try to keep our prices very reasonable, so that everyday working people can afford and love a high quality horse without the high quality cost- our low prices on some very nice horses, in no way reflects their quality. We have and work with many different breeds of horses-registered and unregistered. We have unstarted horses, finished horses, young horses, older horses, companion horses and show horses and everything in between. All of horses are well taken care of and could even be called "spoiled". All horses for sale will have a clear title or Brand Inspection and records for farrier services, vaccination records and deworming records as well as an honest reference to their training and disposition. We are completely against unnecessary medicating such as leg/hock injections etc. so there will be no need to worry about that. We strongly believe that a horse is companion for life and will honestly tell you everything we can about the horse you are interested in without painting a false picture just to make a sale. We also try and support new horse enthusiasts who arent quite ready to make a purchase, by offering certain horses for lease, some horses are allowed to leave our facility, and go to a facility of your choice, upon approval and some stipulations, and some are required to stay with us on- site. RILEY- This is a very nice, stout, over 16 hand bay gelding, some Dressage training, some jumping, lots of arena work- took blues in open shows this summer with an 11 yr old beginner on board. HORSE FINDING SERVICE

Looking for that perfect horse? Is the search becoming a "muck-bucket" of horses, sellers and ads that you cant or dont want to sift through?? LET ME HELP!!! This should be an exciting adventure - and unfortueately there are people out there who will use deceiving techniques, medications or lies, just to make a sale. For a $350 finders fee, and appropriate information provided by you, Horsin' Around will locate, test ride, vet check and help arrange delivery of your new companion. You are responsible for additional fees such as Veterinary Expenses, Health Certificates, Coggins and/or Brand Inspections if applicable. So start cleaning out that stall, hanging the halter and conditioning the saddle while I do the rest! I can also find tack, trailers, panels or whatever else you are looking for- if it has to do with horses- I can find it!

"Dually" is black with a rusty mane and tail, two hind socks, a babydoll head and a puppy-dog disposition. He is also a BIG boy!! Sure to add looks, type and substance to your foals.

Dually's sire, Ford Shameless Minime is black overo with 61 halter points and an open superior and ROM in halter. He is an 8 time world champion and 13 time reserve grand champion. He is sired by Mr Shameless (black overo) who has a superior and ROM in halter, 3 performance points, 63 halter points and 8 time grand champion and 11 time reserve grand champion. Dually's dam, Dixons Darling Dee, was a money earner at futurities until an injury prevented her from showing. She is a full sister to I'm Distinctly Dixon a black overo APHA champion with 1562 lifetime performance points and 142 lifetime halter points. Her full brother was the highest ever selling paint horse at Triangle Sales ($45,000) and won another World title this year in heeling as well as 4th in reining at the World. Dually’s Pedigree is also loaded with champions such as Three Bars, Sunny Dee Bar, Sugar Bars, Impressive, Little Joe, Top Deck, Smart Little Lena, Dash for Cash, The Investor, Poco Bueno, Solario and King.

Dually will be starting his reining career in 2008 and we are very excited and we are sure he will be AWESOME!!! We are booking for the 2008 breeding season to a VERY limited number of mares. ABOUT HORSIN AROUND

Horses are my life and my passion! My own horses are part of my family- a few more "children" if you will. My experience comes from 30 years of "hands on" with horses along with some formal training. My father is highly accredited staff vet with USDA, and also ran his own private clinic for many years, so growing up with him, I gained alot of knowledge and skills with horses as well as cats, dogs, rabbits, cows, skunks, racoons, birds, fish and list goes on and on. My parents also raised Quarter Horses at the CMD_Ranch in Nebraska for many years, turning out some great horses with predominant Two-Eyed Jack lines. I gained my passion for horses from my mother, who trained and showed a few of her own horses, and made sure that we had the privledge and knowledge of being around the wonderful animals growing up. I began at the ripe old age of 13 yrs old working for several Arabian trainers in Utah for many years, there I gained priceless experience and knowledge along with a love and admiration for the Arabian breed, who I now breed, show and train heavily, along with Half Arabians and Paint horses. I have studied or worked under, learned and continue to learn techniques from great trainers/instructors such as Richard Shrake, Jack Teague,Gary Martinez, Jim Hitt, Wally Post, Bob Hart Jr, Clinton Anderson and Pat Parelli. I am currently working through the Parelli levels of Natural Horsemanship and LOVE the concept of really being able to communicate and build a trusting relationship with horses.
I am a mentor with Arabian Horse Association as well as a Discovery Farm, where you can learn about the breed and are welcome to ask questions, come and meet some fabulous horses and become "addicted" as I have.
Along with my husband who is my best friend and partner, I ran one of the largest boarding and training facilities in Wyoming- Paradise Equestrian Center. At the facility we offered boarding, training, lessons, after-school horse camps for kids, breeding services, a horse motel, schooling shows, a riding club and many more equestrian related activities. Our adventures brought us to Colorado, where the weather was a little more condusive to the lifestyle we prefer. Here in Northern Colorado, we proudly stand two beautiful stallions- Arabian- PWR Prince of Praise and Paint- Shameless Dee Lite. I have several beautiful mares, and a couple very nice geldings as well, which my 7 yr old daughter and I show heavily on the local and Class A curcuit in disciplines ranging from Halter, Hunter/Jumper, Western Pleasure, Trail, Driving, Native Costume, English Saddleseat, and now reining-just to name a few.
I still offer and enjoy outside training/refreshers and show coaching as well as breeding, stallion management and dependable animal care for students and people around the area who are traveling or unable for some reason to do it themselves, and have many references as to my dependability and skills for the job. There are always other horses in the pasture, but for me, Dancer is the only one.

I watch him for a few minutes, a rustling piece of paper frightens him. He gallops away, kicking up his heels for the pure joy of it. When I whistle, he pricks up his ears, turns and trots towards me. With a low whiny, he stops for the piece of sugar he knows I have for him. I stroke his satiny neck, and for that moment, I really believe he belondgs to me. -ALETA HANSEN
